Long-Term Intensive Korean Course

• This course is designed for students at various levels from beginners who have no knowledge of the Korean language, to those who intend to reach an advanced Korean level.
• Based on the balance of study throughout various skills –‘speaking’, ‘listening’, ‘writing’, and ‘reading’, students are assigned to one of 6 levels (beginner 1.2, intermediate 1.2, advanced 1.2) according to their individual Korean language competency. Each class consists of approximately 13 students.

Achievement

• Evaluation:
  • The evaluation is the average score of mid-term exam and final term exam.
  • Students must score over 70% on the exam. Students are not able to pass each level with a score of less than 60 %
• Attendance: more than 90% attendance in order to complete each level
  • Students must attend 45 days out of 50 days
  • A certificare of completion will not be issued if students are absent more than 5 days
  • 6 times late= 3 times leaving in the middle of class=1 absence
  • 4 times leaving in the middle of class= 1 absence
• A certificate will be issued for those who complete Level 4 of the program

Cost

• Tuition : 3,000,000 won (2 semesters, including culture class)
• Application fee: 100,000 won
• Dormitory fee will be paid separately every semester. (Total 4 semesters)
