Joshua is a teacher from Portland, Oregon, in the U.S.A. He has been teaching English in Korea for ten years and has received TEFL certification while here. Prior to that, he studied and taught music in the United States. Before coming to Korea, Joshua received a Bachelors degree in Music Education along with the teaching certification. In the summer of 2006 he married a Korean citizen, and now has two beautiful children aged eight and six. They, along with his wife, are his pride and joy and continue to be his inspiration in his educational and teaching pursuits.

Tarah is from Waterloo, Canada. She earned an MA in French Linguistics at the University of Western Ontario, where she taught French classes, and a BA in French Studies and Business Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University. She also has a TESOL qualification for teaching English as a second language. She has lived in Korea for a year and a half and taught previously at an Elementary school in Bucheon. Her academic pursuits include sociolinguistic studies and women’s speech, second language acquisition, language impairments, political science and current affairs. Her other interests include music, ultimate frisbee, reading and travel, having lived abroad previously in both France and Guatemala.
